Whisky
Step into our bar which is a library. A library with shelves of books and also a library with shelves of whisky. Many bask in awe at the diverse and every growing library of whisky from around the world. In this backlit and tight-knit whisky bar, you can spend time looking through the whisky list, discovering a new bottle you haven't tried before.
Locally Owned
Opening back in late 2014, Bibliotheca has carved out a niche as a rare jewel in the city's bar scene. Original founders Roman and Marina established the bar following the 2013 legislative changes that reshaped the city's nightlife. Since September 2023 Bibliotheca has been operating under a new SA owner, keeping its history and traditions alive. Next door to Bibliotheca is its alternative sister bar 'A Social Undertaking'.
